How Far in Advance Should I Order Candy for My Event?

    We recommend placing your candy order at least 2 weeks in advance to allow enough time for processing and shipping. Our standard handling time is approximately 72 hours, and shipping within the U.S. typically takes 2–5 business days, depending on your location. The good news is that most candy has a shelf life of approximately 9–18 months when kept in its original packaging and stored in a cool, dry place. Because of this, you can absolutely order your candy a few months ahead of your event for extra peace of mind.

 

How Much Candy Should I Order for My Event?

   We recommend approximately ½ pound of candy per guest for most events. The exact amount can vary depending on the type of celebration, how long the event lasts, and whether the candy table is the main dessert feature or an additional treat. Since candy buffets are typically self-serve, the size of the treat bags also makes a big difference in how much candy guests will take. For the best experience, we recommend using clear 6x6-inch cello bags, which are the perfect size for guests to fill without overpacking.
